The “pinhole” photo process is one of the oldest photography techniques – requiring just a darkened box, a light source projecting onto a piece of light sensitive paper or film. These are images about subjective feelings, not facts, not social commentary or the number of pixels. In most of the images, even the present are absent. Long exposures create a dream like quality, time seems to be on the move, light is caught changing. The tones and shapes evoke feelings, not explanations. Through the tiny aperture Herault can be anywhere you want it to be!
